There are always some random thoughts floating around in this little head of mine though, so I'll share those...
-This week back to work has been rough! My first day went so well, (too well really, because it set me up for an unrealistic rest of the week) but the rest of it has simply crept by. How it is only Wednesday, is a mystery to me! I'm just keeping my eye on the prize though because MLK Day will grant me a long weekend very soon.
-I'm currently reading (and loving) Freedom by Jonathan Franzen. I really like the story and the characters thus far, but have one small complaint: the chapters are an eternity long! I'm one of those people that likes to read a chapter here, a chapter there, and that just isn't possible for me with this book. Some chapters are like 70+ pgs long and that doesn't allow me to read a little before bed, that requires me to read A LOT at a time. I like 13 page chapters, hell, I like James Patterson style 3 page chapters... 40+ is too long! Does anyone else hate it when a book has SUPER long chapters?
-Calypso St. Barth has a line coming to Target in May!!!! This news absolutely made my day today, and I've already added it to my calendar (with an alert scheduled the day before). I've been drooling over their resort collection since it was released, and am now thrilled that I'll be able to get their look without the major dent in my wallet. I can't wait to see what the collection looks like, and you can bet I'll be at Target first thing in the morning on May 1st!

Well that pretty much covered all of my usual topics (work complaints, TV, books, shopping)! Hopefully I'll be back with some more riveting material soon!

I just bought the 4th season of Big Love off of iTunes yesterday. I've been watching it on my TV via an HDMI output on my laptop! Works perfectly!
I love target and their limited edition lines :) SO CUTE!
I am also counting down the days until MLK holiday. And....can't WAIT until that line comes out at Target...it will be perfect for our cruise this summer!!!

Agreed hate long chapters in books. James Patterson books are the bomb because they are such short chapters the writing is so big. On vacation I can read one of his books in a day. So excited about Calypso line at Target! Oh, and as for my friend Katie's paintings, they are pretty expensive several thousand $$, but a girl can dream right? I am dying for one too!

The Calypso line is TDF. I can't wait to see what actually ends up on the racks.
If I wear that line, will it make me look like Jennifer Anniston in that picture? :)
